Hummus - classic

Hummus ... my endless  love. One of my all time favorites.  I make hummus at least 2-3 times per month. For dipping your veggies, as topping for  grilled veggies and potatoes, or to make your burgers or wraps  shine. Healthy, tasty, packed with proteins.... and so easy and quick to make!

For this basic classic hummus recipe, you just need a good blender, and the following ingredients:

  • 1 can of chickpeas (or cook it yourself)
  • 1 garlic glove or garlic powder
  • 2 tbs Tahini
  • juice of 1/2  lemon
  • 1/2 tbs cummin / cummin-powder
  • 1/2 tbs paprika-powder
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 tbs za'atar (arabic spice mix)

 

Blend well - and store in fridge - lasts up to 4 days (although, this never happens to me, we use it up typically already by day 2....)
