Hummus - pomodoro
I hope you checked my classic Hummus recipe. I call this one Hummus pomodoro as I added the italian touch to it!
- 1 can of chickpeas (or cook it yourself)
- 1 garlic glove or garlic powder
- 2 tbs Tahini
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 tbs of tomato paste
- 4-5 dried tomatoes (bigger ones, or add 8-10 small ones)
- 6-8 leaves of fresh basil
- 1/2 tbs of dried oregano
- 2 tbs of olive oil, or add the oil from the dried tomato can
Now you have a wonderful arabic-italian fusion dip that will impress everyone!
